I was born and grew up in Santa Ana in a family that are all water polo and swimming athletes. I have three older sisters that would take me to practice during their high school years and I was in the pool at the age of six. I was involved in water polo and swimming for all my four years in high school and other extra activities. I grew up in a dominant spanish community and when I entered UCI, I had the opportunity to live in the residence halls. There I got to meet some great and diverse individuals. I made a list of goals that I want to achieve before I leave UCI and a lot of them have been achieved at this moment. To me being involved is key to making my UCI experience enjoyable wether it only pertains to the fraternity or within the UCI community. I am going to start my third year as a math major where I will be working to be a future high school math teacher. Moreover, I am a person who enjoys honest, and unique individuals for who they are.
I am the person that walks backwards around ring road pointing at buildings and sharing great information about the UCI campus. From sharing information about the school campus to sharing my own experience, I have the opportunity to share it with our guest. I have the opportunity to meet K-12 students and change their perspective about UCI. I also have the chance to help to influence their decision about which university campus to attend!
Program educational events for the freshmen that live in the Middle Earth residence halls. I have the opportunity to work with staff members, freshmen, and other student-staff as well.
I am the person that dresses the burgers with all the condiments that the customer wants, the person who dices and cooks the fries, handing out the order at the drive thru or the counter store, and taking the orders of the hungry people of California. This job involves a lot of multi-tasking, and team oriented work ethic.
